Reconciliation Pole

Reconciliation Pole

Good morning parents,

This event was brought to my attention:

Installation of the Reconciliation Pole

I was able to see the pole while it was still being carved during one of my visits to the Museum of Anthropology. It is beautiful and full of important stories.

If you have nothing planned today, please consider this. As we have been talking about residential schools extensively in class, your child will appreciate this event. It would also complement really well what we learned during our visit to the MOA.

I’m quite upset that I can’t make it for 1pm but I plan to go a bit later today.
