Open House & Inquiry-Based Learning

Open House & Inquiry-Based Learning

For the past 6 weeks the students have been working on a personal inquiry. This inquiry hour is by far my favourite moment of the week. The kids are engaged, work independently and on task. They display curiosity, a desire to learn and are able to surmount challenges by helping out each other. Making mistakes helps them grow and we also take the time to reflect on this.

To celebrate the end of the school year and to share what the students have been working on these past few months, Cristina and I would like to invite you to our classroom.

When: Thursday June 9th, between 1:30pm and 2:30pm

To help us prepare for your visit, please respond to this post if you plan on attending.

We hope to see you there!

Annie and Cristina

  1. Hi,

I didn’t hear back from you so we’ve gone ahead with our plans. Sorry to have Ophelia miss out on all the events this week.

    Sorry for any inconvenience,

    1. Good evening Shael, I’m confused about your message. I did not see a note in Ophelia’s agenda so was not aware I was supposed to get back to you. We went over our schedule of the day on Friday and I also spoke to Ophelia about this. She told me she would be there in the morning. Please talk to her as she has some info about tomorrow.
P.S. The best way to reach me is to write a note in her agenda. Thank you!

  2. Bonjour – you je serai la pour voir ce que Gus a fait. Je vous remetcie pour l’invitation, Gisele
