I have renewed our subscription to a French typing program called Tap’Touche. I believe all students have had the chance to log in and start practicing at school. To gain speed and accuracy, I encourage everyone to practice at least 3 times per week.

Here is the information you will be needing to access this site:

1) Address: https://ecole.taptouche.com/index_ecole.asp?VASBSLEY  (this has also been added in the “Links” section on the blog (accessible from the Main Menu – red button)

2) Username & password: these were given to the students in class. If your child can’t remember it, encourage him/her to come speak to me and I will help.

Unfortunately, the site isn’t accessible from a tablet. It will need to be done from a computer (laptop or desktop). Our library also has 6 up to date and working computers so if practicing at home is an issue, your child can also do the practice at school.

Thank you for your support!

    1. Hi Wesley,
I can do this on the PCs we have at school and we don’t have French keyboards. I found a bit of info on the internet. It may not be exactly the same steps but should give you a better idea of how to proceed.

      1) PC: http://french.about.com/od/reading/a/frenchonyourcomputer.htm
      2) Apple (haven’t tested it at all, can’t tell if this will work): http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/e/using/catalog/inputoptions.html#Windows

Let me know how it goes.
